Born in Warwick, NY, Christine was the daughter of Michael and Marie Rose Malano. Growing up in Warwick, she moved to Riverdale almost 70 years ago, raising her three children there. Remembered by her family and friends for her kindness and thoughtfulness to all, Christine worked as the Borough Clerk in Riverdale for more than 30 years before retiring in 1988. She was a member of the Riverdale Seniors and was active with Dial-A-Ride. She also served on the St. Joseph's/Wayne General Hospital Volunteer Auxiliary.
Christine is survived by her children, Donald, Marie Manco and Joseph; her sisters, Louise A. Leemans and Yolanda Simonelli; six grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
