Jean was an avid writer and poet, keeping countless journals. Her favorite Bible verse was John 3:16. She loved nature and enjoyed fishing, gardening, traveling and camping. An excellent cook, she loved canning and cooking holiday meals. She was loved by everyone and had a bubbly personality with a contagious smile. She loved volunteer work and contributed to the church and women's crisis line. She had a private ceremony at O'Brien Funeral Home and was buried at her family plot in West Cemetery, Bristol, Friday, Aug. 24, 2007. The world has lost a great human being, and she will be sadly missed by her family.
