In his will, John Gass requested burial "in the Church Yard of Dongall." Lancaster County Will Book A:19, Ancestry Image 88

John's son William led the family westward and obtained a land warrant in Cumberland (now Franklin) County in 1751. From there some Gass descendants moved onward to VA. See Ancestry Family Tree: Robinson and Peters Tree
