Ragan Rites Set

Eau Claire-Funeral services will be held Friday, at 2 P.M. in the Bowerman Funeral Home for Orville Grant Ragan 67, of route 1, River Road, wo died Monday in Berrien county hospital. The Rev. Lloyd A. Zoschke pastor of the Eau Claire Community Congregational Church will officiate. Mr. Ragan was born in South Bend, Ind., the son of the late William and Lucinda Trisinger Ragan. He came here in 1932 and had been employed by the Eau Claire Packing Co. and Eau Claire Lumber, until becoming caretaker at the Deep Ravine farm 12 years ago. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Dawson (Myrtle) Paul of Eau Claire and Mrs. Norwood (Vera) Harris of Marcellus. Two sons, Orville Richard Ragan of Parchment, a member of the Kalamazoo Police Force and Merle Ragan of Dowagiac, nine grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, three brothers, Russell and Adam of Granger, Ind., and Theodore of Bangor, and a sister Mrs. Sidney (Mary) Beall of South Bend, Ind.

One daughter Maude Helen Ragan preceded him in death, 1927
