John Patrick Beadle, born July 5, 1939 and passed away April 13, 2006 in Bradenton, Florida. He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Susan Beadle; two daughters, Patti (Bruce) Spencer, Terri Beadle all of Ada; two grandsons, William and Chance Spencer; brothers and sisters, Jim Beadle, Tempe of AZ, Mary Jane (Paul) Tramontin of Ann Arbor, Patricia (Preston) Trimble, Norman, OK, Mark (Susan) Beadle, Marietta, GA; nieces and nephews, Kitt (Mike) Woodrell, Daira Tramontin, Stephanie (Jon) Green, Sarah Taylor, Mark Beadle, Michael Beadle. John worked for many years as the Manager in Charge of Operations of Data Processing at Amway Corporation, retiring in 1999. He was active in many clubs and organizations both in Michigan and Bradenton, Florida where he and Susan have a winter home. He is a Life Member of Muskegon Yacht Club, a member of the RUDE Taster's Guild, the Ada Historical Society, University of Michigan Alumni Association and the West Michigan Old Speckled Hen MG Car Club. While in Florida during the winters he was a member of the Bradenton Elks Club #2734, the Trailer Estates Yacht Club, Fire Auxiliary, Bocce Club, Computer Club and Woodworkers Club. John and Susan cooked competitively for many years entering chili and BBQ competitions throughout the country. They took home many trophies and awards, taking great pride in each and every one. They were active members of the Kansas City Barbeque Society and this past year received the prestigious Founders Trophy from the Great Lenexa Barbeque Battle, Lenexa, KS. Mass of Christian Burial will be offered Tuesday, April 18 at 11 a.m. at St. Robert of Newminster, 6477 Ada Dr. Interment Ada Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at O'Brien-Eggebeen-Gerst Funeral Home, 3980 Cascade Rd SE. Vigil service Monday 7 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association. O'Brien Eggebeen Gerst
