Mrs. Nora Leonard
Mrs. Nora Baird Leonard, 72, of the East Pittsford road died at the Rutland hospital Thursday night after a long illness. She was born in Chittenden March 8, 1862, daughter of Charles and Martha Fletcher Baird. She resided in Boston, Mass., until about seven years ago. She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Ethel Congdon of Chittenden, three sisters, Mrs. William Alexander of Hyde Park, Mass., Mrs. Robert Johnson of Brandon, and Mrs. W. O. Baird of Pittsford; two brothers, Leroy Charles Baird of Boston and Fayette Baird of Hubbardton, also by two grandchildren. The body was removed to the Stearns funeral home on West street where funeral services will be held tomorrow afternoon at 3 o'clock. Rev. J. Graydon Brown will officiate. Burial will be in Horton cemetery in Chittenden.
