Danny K. Crabtree, 73, of Anderson, passed away on June 12, 2020, at the V.A. Hospital, Marion.
He was born on June 8, 1947, in Monticello, Kentucky, the son of Edward Crabtree and Edath (Dobbs) Rigney.
Danny graduated from the former Harrison High School.
He proudly served his county in the United States Army during the Vietnam War.
Danny retired from Delco Remy Division of General Motors after 32 years of service.
He enjoyed classic cars and going to horse races.
Danny is survived by his loving wife, Vickie (Sheppard) Crabtree, whom he married Dec. 7, 1968; son, Robert Crabtree; daughter, Deidre (Ronald) Tapia; brothers, James (Pamela) Crabtree and Allen (Joyce) Rigney; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Donald and Milton Crabtree.
Graveside services will take place at Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery on Wednesday, June 17, 2020, at 1 p.m., where military rites will be conducted.
