William L. Adams Dies in Local Hospital
William L. Adams, 76, 136 S. California street, died last night at a local hospital.
He was born in Cass county, Mo., on Feb. 12, 1871. He had lived in Ventura for the past 12 years.
He is survived by his wife, Susan Ellen Adams, Ventura, two sons, Melvin Adams, Ventura, and Sherman Adams, Ottawa, Kan., a daughter, Mrs. Albert Gilliland, Ventura, a brother Grover Adams, La Tour, Mo., and two sisters, Mrs. Pearl Hinchman, Oceanside, Calif., and Miss Gertrude Adams, Ventura.
Funeral services, to be announced later, are being arranged by the Mayr Funeral home.
