Worthy Gibbons was born February 25, 1876 in Rockport, Summit, Utah. He was the eleventh of seventeen children born to Thomas and Elizabeth Lack Gibbons. He married Elizabeth Siddoway, March 23, 1898 at Rockport. The marriage was later solemnized at the Salt Lake City Temple. He was a Rockport ranch for forty-five years, and moved with his family to Peoa in 1952 when Rockport dam was constructed. He was survived by his widow, Elizabeth Siddoway Gibbons, and a daughter, Mrs. (Lois) Russell Marchant.
