She was BORN 1/6/1892 in the Salty Comm. and lived in the area all her life. She was the 2nd child of R.M. Beard & Lillie Caffey Beard. Married Babe Survant 12/15/1909 and he passed away on their 45th wedding anniversary, 12/15/1954. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Thorndale, a lifetime member of the PTA and a member of the Red Cross organization. Grandsons were pallbearers.
