Ruby Ann Futch-Sailors, 70, died Thursday, Aug. 23, 2007.

Celebration of life services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in Paramount Baptist Church. Additional services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Kilpatrick Funeral Home Chapel in West Monroe, La. Burial will be in Hasley Cemetery in West Monroe by Blackburn-Shaw Funeral Directors Memorial Chapel, Fifth Avenue and Pierce Street.

Mrs. Ruby Futch-Sailors was born in Monroe, raised in West Monroe and then attended business school in Shreveport, La. She later moved to Amarillo in 1972 and has lived here ever since. She owned Mother Futch's Restaurant until her retirement. She was a manager for various hotels for 20 years. She married Jerry Sailors of John Chandler Ford and had previously married Stanley Futch of Missouri Valley Construction. She was a devoted mother, grandmother and best friend. She was a member of Paramount Baptist Church in Amarillo and Trinity Baptist Church in West Monroe.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Ray Feazell; and her two husbands, Jerry Sailors and Stanley Futch.

Survivors left to cherish her memories include three daughters, Renee Bland of Dallas, Debbie Futch of Amarillo and Tracy Futch-Peterson of Dallas; two brothers, Fred Feazell of Austin and Lloyd Feazell of Arkansas; two stepchildren, Joetta Gallardo of Lubbock and John Sailors of Melbourne, Australia; and three granddaughters, Lindsey Bland of Dallas, Saylor Gallardo and Mia Sailors.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to service time Tuesday at the funeral home in West Monroe.
