She was born Feb. 11, 1925, in Kenhorst, a daughter of the late Walter and Mary (Willet) Schreffler.
She attended the Strausstown School in Berks County.
Leahabell was employed by the Champ Hat Co., Sunbury, for 22 years and then by Sunbury Community Hospital for 18 years.
She was a former member of Zion Lutheran Church, Strausstown, and at the time of her passing was a member of St. Luke's Lutheran Church, Sunbury.
Leahabell enjoyed playing bingo and pool.
She is survived by nieces and nephews, Shirley Strohm, Mary Trostle, John Kramer, Susan Strausser, Jean Keller, Lori Hain, Nelson and Gerald Schreffler; and her close friends, Carol, Bev and Dale.
She was preceded in death by three brothers, Howard, Raymond and Norman, and one sister, Grace.
Friends will be received from 1 to 2 p.m. Saturday at St. Luke's Lutheran Church, Reagan Street and Catawissa Avenue, Sunbury, followed by the funeral at 2 with the Rev. Louise Williams officiating.
Burial will be made in Christ Emmanuel Lutheran and Reformed Cemetery in Grill.
Funeral arrangements are by the Jerre Wirt Blank Funeral Home, 395 State St., Sunbury.
