Funeral services for Ms. Jo Beth Boley VanVeckhoven, 69, of Westwego, will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 24, 2007 at Bistineau Baptist Church of Helfin with the Rev. Everett Geis Jr. officiating. Interment will follow at Bistineau Cemetery under the direction of Rockett Funeral Home of Ringgold.
Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. until the time of the funeral on Friday at Bistineau Baptist Church.
Ms. VanVeckhoven was the daughter of the late James Alton Boley and Rilla Kyle Davis Boley. She was a native of Minden and a resident of Westwego for the past 35 years. She worked for the City of Westwego Department of Motor Vehicles for 12 years.
She is survived by her children, Lisa VanVeckhoven Balli, Tina VanVeckhoven Benson and Richard Larry VanVeckhoven, Jr.; one sister, Jackie Boley Bryant; two brothers, James P. Boley and Waylan Boley; 13 grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
