In August 1883 Urias married Lydia Meyers of Maxwell, daughter of Samuel and Barbara Klingaman Meyers. They started farming on a farm near Farrar, later moving to Nevada, Fernald and back to Maxwell. In 1914 they retired to a new house they built in Maxwell, where they lived until their death. Lydia died in August 1925 and Urias on August 19, 1928. They were members of the Brethren Church. To this union were born five children, Roy, Carrie, Ray, Amy Mae and Hattie Pet Marie...........
Carrie "Sis" Beal was born October 8, 1887 and died April 2, 1945. She married William Hostetler on February 16, 1910. Their children are Ray Hostetler of Colo, Iowa and Marjorie Hostetler Baker, deceased.............."
