William Schmehl Is Claimed By Death On Tuesday Night
William Schmehl Sr., aged resident of this city, was claimed by death Tuesday night at 9 oʼclock at the home of his son Otto Schmehl. He was 86 years old.
Born in Hessen, Darmstadt , Germany , Mr. Schmehl came to Florida in 1880 and settled in Polk County , where he resided 37 years. Eleven years ago he moved to Sanford where he resided with his son until his death.
The deceased is survived by sons, Otto and William Schmehl, Jr., both residents of this city. Funeral services were held at --- oʼclock this afternoon at the funeral home of Miller and Erickson with Rev. W. P. Buhrman, pastor of the First Methodist Church in charge. Internment followed in Lakeview Cemetery .
