Allen Leon Colclasure, Checotah resident, passed away on Saturday, June 6, 2020 in Checotah at the age of 74. He was born on Tuesday, December 4, 1945 to Chester and Venita (Tackitt) Colclasure in Flora, Illinois. Allen served in the United States Army. On August 23, 2008, he married Stephanie Hurst in the backyard of his home. Allen could fix anything. He was always cutting wood and working outdoors. He loved spending time with his family under the shade tree. For 20 years, he worked at T. H. Rogers Lumber Company in Checotah. He will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew him. Allen was preceded in death by his parents; his sons, Robert, David, Steven, and Troy Colclasure; his son-in-law, Jimmy McCall and his step-son, Robert Hurst. He is lovingly survived by his wife, Stephanie Hurst; his daughter, Treva Colclasure and fiancé Travis Branson; his son, Michael Colclasure and his wife Kristina of Battle Creek, MI; his stepson, Raymond Hurst and his wife Samantha; 15 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Allen is also survived by his brother, Melvin D. Colclasure and his wife Brenda of Marion IL; his sister, Patsy D. Williams and her husband John of Flora, IL; his half-brother, Terry Lee Tackitt and his wife Judy of Yale, IL; his brothers in law, Steve Clarno and his wife Carissa, Michael Clarno and Robert Clarno and his wife Barbi; his sister in law, Michelle Clarno and his mother-in-law, Jill Clarno as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other extended family and a lifetime of friends.
