Dorothy “Dotty” H. Fish, 84, of Astor, Florida entered into eternal life Saturday at her home.

Born in Ashland, PA, January 6, 1936, she was the daughter of the late Elmer and Caroline Horning.

Dotty graduated from Schuylkill Haven Area High School in 1953 and Bloomsburg State Teachers College graduating in 1957 with a degree in Education. She was Office Administrator of Lake Wynonah, Auburn, PA for 13 years before relocating to Astor, Florida where she assumed administrator responsibilities at Astor - St. Johns Marine and later Triangle Marine. She retired in 2001.

In Pennsylvania, she was an active member of Grace Evangelical Congregational Church, Schuylkill Haven. In Florida she was a member of First Presbyterian Church, DeLand

Dotty was outgoing and enjoyed the company of everyone she met. Music was an integral part of her life from a young girl to her passing. She sang alto in her church and community choirs, and was accomplished in piano, organ and accordion. For the past 20 years, Dotty and her loving husband Dennis operated DND Music Co. and filled local Florida dance venues with sounds of the 40s to the 70s, spending many New Years’ Eves playing saxophone and keyboards to the wee hours of the morning. Dennis and Dotty also avid travelers, were married 23 years this past April.

Dotty was very proud of her children Sharon Albright, Drums, PA (Timothy); Charles ‘Bub’ Buehler, Schuylkill Haven, PA, (Holly Wolfe); and Scott Buehler, Manteca, CA. (Jodeen Jeffres). Dotty was preceded in death by grandson Kyle A. Buehler in 1995 (Charles/Holly) and is survived by grandchildren Jeffrey Albright, Christopher Albright, David Buehler (Scott/Jodeen) and Kayla A. Buehler (Charles/Holly). She has four great-grandchildren.
