Jacob Crecelius executed a will dated December 13, 1868. He states in his will that he has already given his real estate to his children. He leaves all money and personal property to his wife Catharine Elisabeth for life, then to his two daughters Catharine Elisabeth, wife of Philip Henry Crecelius, and Christiana Philippine, wife of John Mueller. The sons-in-law are appointed executors. Wilhelm C Werner and Christian D Wolff witnessed execution of the will. The will was admitted to probate in St. Louis County, Missouri on September 1, 1870.
