Kathryn E. Miller, 83, of Bethany Village and formerly a resident of New Cumberland, passed away in her residence in Bethany Village.
She was born on December 18, 1923 the daughter of the late Frank I. and Laura M. (Thomas) Hoover.
Kathryn was a retired Secretary for the L. B. Smith Corporation, Lemoyne and was a former employee of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania's Department of Internal Affairs.
She was a member of St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church, New Cumberland and a former member of Faith United Church of Christ, New Cumberland.
Kathryn was a member of the Penn Cumberland Garden Club and Past President of the New Cumberland Women's Club.
She was a talented water colorist.
In addition to her parents, Kathryn was preceded in death by her husband: Harry F. Miller; her daughter: Susan K. Shover; and, her son: John W. Shover.
She is survived by her daughters: Jacqueline L. Miller of Atlanta, Georgia and Patricia A. Peterson of Mechanicsburg; and, her grandsons: Andrew B. Shearer and Peter F. Chamberlin.
Memorial Services were held in the Community Room of Bethany Village with Pastor Elaine M. Dent officiating.
Burial will be in Prospect Hill Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
