Loretta Maxine Moran, age 76, Carl Junction, passed away at 11:33 p.m. Friday, June 4, 2020 at Freeman West Hospital.
Maxine was born March 31, 1944 in Joplin to the late Harry Ray Ames and Evelyn Starchman Ames and had lived in the Joplin area all of her life.
A homemaker, Maxine loved to crochet; enjoyed reading and traveling whenever she had the chance. She loved her family with all her heart and will be missed by everyone that knew her.
She married James Donald Moran on December 11, 1965 in Carl Junction. He survives at the home.
Additional survivors include her children, Erich Moran, Keith Moran and wife, Mary, Chad Moran and wife, Karen, Jeffrey Moran, Nathan Moran and wife, Debbie; a sister, Carolyn Ritchie; brothers, Kevin Ames and wife, Joyce, Mike Tracy and wife, Tina, Frank 'Corky' Ames and wife, Terri; grandchildren, Katherine DeGraff and husband, Jordan, Andrew Moran, Christopher Moran, Ciara Moran, Alex Moran, Dalton Cardwell, Cassandra Moran; and one great grandchild, Maxwell Degraff.
Services are planned for Monday at 1:00 p.m. at Parker Mortuary Chapel. Rev. Bob Simon will officiate. Interment will follow at Carl Junction Cemetery.
Arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary.
