Funeral services were conducted here Tuesday of this week for John H. Ezzell at the Church of Christ. Mr. Ezzell died at Breckenridge, Sunday after a brief illness. He was 88 years of age and had been in fair health for his age until only a short time before his illness. While he had not lived here for some years, he visited often with his daughters, Mrs. Cozart and Mrs. Fulton Smith and had other relatives and friends who live in and around De Leon. He had formerly lived in the Duster Community. Burial was in the Alameda Cemetery where his wife, who passed on many years ago, is buried.
