Carol Jane Duckworth, age 74 of North Canton, passed away on September 22, 2014. She was born July 6, 1940 to the late Carl and Mildred Crowl. Carol enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, being outdoors, shopping, and playing with her grand-dog, Mindy.
In addition to her parents, Carol was also preceded in death by her first husband, James Archibald Sr. and her children, Kathy and James A. Archibald.
She is survived by her husband, Gerald Duckworth; children, Rick Archibald, Brenda (Arthur) Shurie, Wendy (Greg) Puntenney. James Archibald Jr; step-children, Elaine Duckworth, Andy (Caryn) Duckworth, Steven Duckworth, Mark Duckworth; grandchildren, Joshua (Kate) Shurie, Hollie (Lance Felgenhauer) Puntenney, Hayley Puntenney, Donald, Luke, and Jason Archibald; step-grandchildren, Christian, Caitlin, Joey, Emily, and Edgar Duckworth, Devin and Ashley Hood, Christopher Casti; great-grandchildren, Dominic Shurie, and one to be born in April 2015; siblings, Carl Crowl, Bonnie (Richard) Snyder, Barb (Jeff) Ferguson, Joe (Brenda) Crowl, Jim Crowl; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 25, 2014 at 11am in the Reed Funeral Home Canton Chapel with calling hours Wednesday evening from 6-8pm. Interment will be in Sunset Hills Burial Park.
