Funeral services for Elise Pearl Flory, 91, Brookville, Ohio, formerly of Overbrook, will be at 2 p.m. today at the Eight-Mile Old German Baptist Brethren Church west of Centropolis. She died Tuesday, Sept. 25, 2001, at a Dayton, Ohio, hospice.
Mrs. Flory was a homemaker and farmed with her husband in the Willow Springs and Globe communities.

She was born June 8, 1910, near Sawyer, the daughter of John W. and Mary Frances Barnhart Edgecomb. She grew up on a farm near Overbrook and attended Centennial Rural School. She moved to the Brookville, Ohio, and Phillipsburg, Ohio, area in October 1995.

She married Arthur Everett Flory on Aug. 21, 1932, near Overbrook. He died Sept. 5, 1986.

Survivors include a daughter, Vera Garber, Brookville, Ohio; two sons, Donald Flory, Pomona, and Dale Flory, Greenville, Ohio; three brothers, Paul Edgecomb, Silver Lake, Ind., John Edgecomb, Garnett, and Raymond Edgecomb, Pacific Grove, Calif.; 12 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren.

Burial in Pleasant Hill Cemetery near Centropolis will follow the funeral services. Lamb-Roberts-Heise Funeral Home, Ottawa, is in charge of arrangements.
