William A. Collyer, 69, Miami, a retired auditor for the Florida East Coast Railway, died Thursday in a hospital. He came to Miami 15 years ago from St. Augustine, and had worked with railroads all his life. Before working for the FEC, he had been an auditor for the Kansas City Southern Railroad.
Survives wife Mattie; sons Marvin Arnold, Miami, and Edward Arnold, St. Augustine; daughters Mrs. R. S. Garnett, Kansas City, Mo., Mrs. Frank Kasper, Miami, Mrs. Charles E. Walker, St. Augustine, and Mrs. W. W. Cook, Atlantic Beach; two brothers, a sister.
Grandchildren ten, great-grandchildren two.
He will lie in repose at King Chapel today.
