Albert Andrew Condi, 91, of Laurel Park, died Monday, March 29, 2010, at Life Care Center. A native of Latrobe, PA, he was born on November 28, 1918 to the late Andrew Condi and Flora Hackman. Mr. Condi was a veteran of World War II, having served in a U.S. Army Artillery Battalion in Italy. In 1953, he opened Condi Drill Company in Chicago and in 1972, moved the company to Hendersonville. After retiring in 1979, Mr. Condi enjoyed playing golf and bridge, working in his garden and ballroom dancing with his wife to the music of the big band era.
Mr. Condi is survived by his loving wife of 68 years, Martha Stahl Condi; two daughters, Beth Austin, of Hendersonville, Linda Sheard and husband Bart, of Sturgeon Bay, WI; four grandchildren, Micah Sheard, of Madison, WI, Heather Williams and husband, Daniel, of Madison, WI, Drew Austin and fiancée Toni Cuccia, of Raleigh, NC,
Patrick Austin, of Atlanta, GA; two great-grandchildren, Zachary Williams and Paige Williams, of Madison, WI; a brother, Paul H. Condi and wife Alice, of Evansville, IN and a sister, Joyce Mizner, of Meadville, PA.
