Rev. Raymond Frank Van Zandt, 78, moved to Levelland, Texas in 1971. He was a retired Methodist minister and a member of the Masonic Lodge. He was a minister for 42 years.

Raymond Frank Van Zandt married Johnnie Lois Taylor on 5 May 1922 at Lockney, Texas. The couple served with Methodist Churches together at Muleshoe, Lockney, Ovalo, Blackwell, Clyde, Jayton, Stanton, Aspermont, Rule, Spur, Roscoe, Andrews, Dimmitt and Petersburg. Rev. Raymond Frank Van Zandt served for 10 years as associate pastor of the Highland United Methodist Church in Odessa, Texas.

Survived by his wife; two sons - R.T. Van Zandt and John Van Zandt; one sister - Mrs. Horace Irby; six grandchildren.
