He came to the United States at the age of 18 years. For many years he was a resident of Wisconsin Rapids and came to the present site of Tomahawk before there was a settlement here. He thus qualifies as one of the pioneer residents of the city.
He was married 56 years ago to Miss Lavina Busher. He was the father of three children, Mrs. Ben Luchinski, Alexander and Frank Robarge.
Funeral services were conducted at St. Mary's Catholic church on Wednesday morning, Rev. Wm. Smits officiating. Interment was in Calvary cemetery, Messrs. Wm. Day, E. Myre, Peter Allord, Hector Caron, John Lambert and John Sortore acting as pall bearers.
