WILLIAMS, Frank of Thorndale. Age 75. Died 2/1967. Services held (Sunday) from Phillips & Luckey Funeral Chapel in Rockdale. Burial in Salty Cemetery near Thorndale. Rev. L.G. Stokes, pastor of Trinity Methodist Church, assisted by Rev. Larry Gilbert, pastor of First Baptist Church, Thorndale, officiated. Phillips & Luckey Funeral Directors in charge of arrangements.

Better known as "Mr. Frank" was BORN 7/13/1891 in Salty Comm., to the late Benjamin Franklin Williams & Delilah Crocker Williams. Married Miss Ninnie Pearl Jackson on 8/18/1907. He was a retired custodian and bus driver for Thorndale Public Schools. He was also a farmer during his life, but gained more enjoyment from his school position. He held that position until 1946 when he retired. Member of the Salty Methodist Church in 1917 and practiced his faith daily. Preceded in death by 3 sisters and 1 brother.

SURVIVORS: Wife, Ninnie Williams of Thorndale; daughter, Mrs. Audye Bell Duett of Sacramento, CA.; 2 sons, Elmer Williams of Austin and Olen Williams of Stafford; 6 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren; brother, A.K. Williams of Terrell; 2 sisters, Mrs. Beulah Lackey of Nacona and Mrs. Lora Schramm of Ryan, OK., numerous nieces and nephews.
