Hilda M. Libbert, 77, of Eugene, died Sunday, October 5, 2003,
at Capital Region Medical Center (Jefferson City). She was born May 25,
1926, in Folk, Missouri, a daughter of Ben and Betty Schoenauer Bax. She
was a graduate of Fatima High School.
She was married June 12, 1946, in Folk, Missouri, to Andrew F.
"Pat" Libbert, who preceded her in death on October 3, 2000. She was a
homemaker and was a member of Our Lady of the Snows Catholic Church in
Mary's Home.
She is survived by four sons: Dennis L. Libbert of Jefferson
City, Gary W. Libbert of Jefferson City, Darrell G. Libbert of Brazito, Jim
D. Libert of Eugene; three daughters, Laverne E. Robinson of Loose Creek,
Patty S. Hart of Eugene and Lisa A. Morris of Eugene; one sister, Mary Jane
Frank of Linn; twelve grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Herbert Bax and a great-granddaughter, Chloe
Robinson.
Friends will be received from 4:00-8:00 p.m. Wednesday at the
Houser-Millard Funeral Directors - Jefferson City Chapel, with a prayer
service at 7:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m.
Thursday, October 9, 2003, at the Our Lady of the Snows Catholic Church in
Mary's Home, with Fr. Clarence E. Wiederholt officiating. Interment will
follow at Our Lady of the Snows Parish Cemetery.
Expressions of sympathy may be made to the Our Lady of the Snows Building Fund or the charity of the donor's choice. Arrangements are under the direction of the Houser-Millard Funeral Directors.
