Myrl Badley of Green Forest, Arkansas was born October 7, 1940 in Enon, Arkansas to Fay and Ruby (Peden) Badley. Myrl passed away Thursday, May 28, 2020 in Springfield, Missouri at the age of 79.

Myrl worked for the City of Kimberling for approximately 20 years before starting his own business, Badley’s Paving, which he operated with his family through 2015. He was a long time farmer, even though he made his wife and kids do all the work! He had an avid love for team roping, his cattle, fine horses, and dogs. His farm on Yocum Creek and his family were his life.

Myrl is survived by his wife of 40 years, Evelyn (Gowler) Badley, and by the following family members: daughter Vickie Moore and husband Gene; son Billy Badley and wife Charlyn; daughter Teresa Porter and husband Tony; son Richard Badley and wife Kim; son Donald Blevins; daughter Michel Blevins-Pinkley and husband Chad Isbell; daughter Sherry Lasseter and husband Jared; daughter-in-law Judith Badley; sister Ann Armstrong; brother Alfred Badley; along with numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren that he loved dearly.

Myrl is preceded in death by his parents, his eldest son Dwight Badley, brother Henry, sister Eleanor Harrison, brother Dawson, and four infant siblings.
