Thelma E. Leake, 83, of King George County died Friday, June 12, 2009, at her residence. She was the widow of Carol B. Leake.
Mrs. Leake was a homemaker and lifelong resident of King George.
She is survived by her daughter, Gloria Diane Cox of King George; four grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, and great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews.
A funeral will be held at 12:30 p.m. Monday, June 15, at Nash & Slaw Funeral Home, King George, with the Rev. Dennis Newton officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens, Fredericksburg.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, June 14, at the funeral home.
