Mary Katherine Henderson Lundquist Brockbank, age 93, passed away April 22, 2000 at her home in Provo, Utah.

Born Vernal, Utah, July 17, 1906 to William S. and May Bartlett Henderson. Married Roland Crosby Lundquist June 28, 1927 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He passed away October 14, 1958. Married Robert I. Brockbank June 8, 1967 in the Logan LDS Temple.

Survived by children, Leila (Derrel) Judd, Provo, UT; Robert H. (Kathleen) Lundquist and F. Kent (Karen) Lundquist, Salt Lake City, Utah. Stepchildren, Jack (Betty) Brockbank, Phylis Morgan; 12 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; brothers, Charles R. Henderson, Royal B. Henderson, Vernal, UT; Ernest W. Henderson, Richmond, CA; and sister, Florence H. White, Logan, UT. Preceded in death by one great-grandchild; husbands; sisters, Barta H. Drummond, Helen H. Walker; and brother, Sydney.

Lived in Vernal, Price, Logan, Richfield, Kanab, Ogden, Provo, Utah, and Santa Ana, California.

Active member of the LDS Church. Served in many capacities, several years in the Relief Society and Young Women's Organizations, genealogist. Also an officer in the Ladies Literary League. Member of Soroptimist Club,. She was instrumental in developing 4-H Clubs in Kane County Utah and was named "Outstanding 4-H Club Leader" for 1945. Elected President of the Southern District Federation of Women's Clubs. Owned the Stork Set Maternity Dress Shop in Ogden.

She was a "World Class" quilter leaving a legacy of hundreds of beautiful quilts. She was an unselfish friend, willingly serving others throughout her entire life.

Services: Wednesday, April 26, 2000, 11 a.m., Edgemont 7th LDS Ward, 555 East 3230 North, Provo, Utah. Friends may call Tuesday evening 7-9 p.m. Olpin Sundberg Mortuary, 495 S. State, Orem, Utah and at the church one hour before the services. Interment, Ogden City Cemetery.

The family thanks Leslie Gibbons, their mother's loving and kind caregiver in recent months.
