Musician. Jimmy was a longtime Opry guitarist and Musicians Hall of Fame member. He played in the Opry house band for more than 50 years. He worked with some of the biggest and best in the music industry such as Kenny Rogers, Johnny Cash, George Strait and others. He made his Opry debut in 1958. In 2012 the Country Music Hall of Fame honored Capps as one of the lauded "Nashville Cats" players. The Musicians Hall of Fame inducted Capps in 2014.
