Alloma Dell Ransbottom, age 65, passed away in Spokane, WA on November 29, 2013. She was born on October 30, 1948, the daughter of Donald and Irene (Fritz) Billedeaux in Longview, WA. Alloma grew up and attended school in Battleground, WA. After graduating from high school she lived and worked in the Vancouver, WA area until relocating to Kettle Falls in 1972 when she started working at Boise Cascade. After moving to Kettle Falls, Alloma met Tim Ransbottom, and the two were married on March 6, 1975. At that time she left Boise Cascade and became a homemaker. In 1984, she went to work at Jackpot Food Mart in Colville and worked there for a few years. When Wal-Mart built their new store in Colville, she was one of the new store's first hires and was employed with them for 9 years. In her spare time, Alloma enjoyed camping, fishing, hunting, cooking, gardening, tending to her flower garden, and spending time with her family. Alloma was preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Irene Fritz. She is survived by her husband, Tim Ransbottom, Kettle Falls, WA; daughter Toni Thordarson and husband Owen, Auburn, WA; half brother Dan Mullen and wife Cheryl, Vancouver, WA; and grandchildren David Thordarson and Clifford Morton.
