Services for Sandra Kay Bill, 66, of Kilgore, will be held at 2 pm on Wednesday, June 3, 2020, at 2 pm in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home with Rev. Jake Wommer officiating. Interment will follow in the Danville Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday evening from 5p until 7p. Memorial Registry Book will be available for signing on Monday from 9 am until 7 pm. Sandra completed her earthly journey and went home to be with her Lord on Sunday, May 31, 2020.

Sandra was born on August 24, 1953, in Longview to Otis and Vera Nix. She was 1971 graduate of Kilgore High School. Sandra was a long-time member of the Lighthouse Church of Liberty City. Before her retirement she worked as a certified medication aide. She enjoyed listening to gospel music, yardwork, crossword puzzles and watching soap operas. Sandra’s kindness and compassion were always extended to those who were in need of help. Her family was the source of her strength and spending time with them especially her grandchildren was when she was happiest. Sandra will be greatly missed by all those whose lives she has touched.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Heather Willett (Jamie) of Gladewater, Kelly Bill (Randall Sisk) of Joshua, Sherry Bill of Kilgore; grandchildren, Michael Williams, Brian Sisk, Kevin Williams, Elizabeth Sisk, Austin Sisk, Logan Gibbard, Megan Gibbard, Aly Wingate; great-grandchildren, Robbie Sisk, Presleigh Williams; siblings, Claudette Thompson (James) of New London, Dian Patterson of Kilgore, Linda Foxworth of Kilgore, Shirley Curlee of Kilgore, Otis “Oddie” Nix (Deann) of Henderson and Ronnie Nix (Theresa) of Kilgore. Also, left to carry on her legacy are numerous nieces, nephews, church family, friends, and other loving family members.

Sandra was preceded in death by her parents, husband Jerrold Bill, brother Charles T. Nix and granddaughter Faith Ann Williams.

The family wishes to express their sincere thanks and appreciation to Heartsway Hospice of Northeast Texas, for their loving and compassionate care of Sandra during the final days of her earthly journey.
