Henrietta Augusta Hashagen was the daughter of Julius Hashagen and Elisa Fraas. Her parents were born in Germany. Henrietta was an artist. She married Dominick Plante, an American Indian known as 'Thunder Cloud' on September 1 1896. They were married by Henry St. George Young, clergyman of New York Protestant Episcopal City Mission Society, in Manhattan, New York. The witnesses at their wedding were Otto Wise and Ella Thilma Stockbridge. Their daughter Wanita was born in Manhattan on 12 Mar 1899. This family removed to Delaware township, Pike County, Pennsylvania. Dominick indicated he was 3/4 American Indian from the Sioux tribe in the 1900 U S Federal Census. He and his parents were born in Canada. Dominick was a dealer in Indian curios. Henrietta was an artist.

Mrs. Henrieta (Henrietta) A Plante, widow of Thoudercloud, died at her home in Dingmans last Thursday evening at 7 o'clock. She was in the 61st year of her age. She is survived by one daughter, Miss Wanita Plante. The funeral was held at the funeral home of C. S. Black in Milford on Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock, Rev. Mr. Dolman officiating, interment in the Delaware cemetery at Dingman's.
