Mrs. Emma Oliver, 84, resident of 137 East H street, Colton, died Wednesday in a San Bernardino hospital following several weeks illness.
A native of Illinois she had resided in Colton 37 years.
Surviving are two sons, Harold C. Oliver of Colton and Joseph Oliver, of Pasadena.
Services will be held at 3 p.m. today in the I. M. Knopsnyder & Son chapel with the Rev. E. C. Polhemus officiating. She will be buried in the family plot, Rialto.

Services Conducted For Mrs. Emma Oliver Funeral services were held for Mrs. Emma Oliver Thursday in the I. M. Knopsnyder & Son chapel, Colton, with the Rev. C. E. Polhemus, pastor of the First Presbyterian church, officiating. Miss Marjorie Reeves played organ selections. Pallbearers included E. H. Erichsen, Hays Coe, R. M. Johnson, R. W. Hafner, Gene Hafner and Olin Rogers. Burial was in the Oliver family plot in park cemetery, Rialto.

When Emma Kittle was born on August 3, 1859, in Illinois, her father, Jacob, was 37 and her mother, Mary Sanders, was 30. She had a brother Theodore. She married William Burton Oliver in 1885. She died on January 5, 1944, in Colton, California, at the age of 84, and was buried in Rialto, California.
