Ada was born on May 12, 1929 in Buchanan County, VA and was the daughter of the late Bill and Maggie Keen Stacey. She enjoyed going to church, flea markets and doing crafts. Ada also spent her time as a homemaker taking care of her children. She will be missed by all those who knew and loved her. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George Dunford; two daughters, Betty Sparks and Pamela Walls; a son, Estil Lee Dunford; a grandson, William Calvin Dunford, Jr.; and three brothers, Matt Stacey, Harold Stacey and Robbie Stacey.

Funeral services for Ada Dunford will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, May 31, 2020 at the Hurst-Scott Funeral Chapel in Richlands, VA with the Rev. Joseph Dunn officiating. Interment will follow at the Grandview Memory Gardens in Bluefield, VA. Pallbearers will be Phillip Dunford, Garrett Hines and Herbie Brown. The Dunford family will receive friends from 1-2 pm at the funeral home.
