Virginia Alice Jones Bibee, age 73 of Okeana passed away at her daughter's residence on Tuesday, March 13, 2007 at 12:00 AM. She was born in Hamilton on December 17, 1933 the daughter of Forrest and Emma (Youngman) Jones. Virginia was the previous owner/operator of Country Cupboard. She enjoyed sewing, crafts, flowers, and gardening. She got immense pleasure from all her animals, especially her little dog, Bingo. Virginia was a member of the Morgan Township Fire Department and Auxiliary, as well as Women's Auxiliary of Hamilton West Eagles #3986. On April 16, 1952 in Fort Jackson, South Carolina she married John Bibee, Jr.

She is survived by her husband, John Bibee, Jr. of Okeana; two daughters, Marilyn (Randy) Glancy and Donna Dittman, both of Millville; four grandchildren, Candice (Jamie) Berryman, Melissa (Shaun) Day, Daniel (Stephanie) Dittman, and Theodore (fiancée Becky Baugh) Dittman; four great-grandchildren, Lance Turner, Raina Dittman, Ashton Day, and Sydnee Berryman; three brothers, Forrest (Barbara) Jones of Alabama, Walter (Doris) Jones of Auburn, Ohio, and Paul Jones of Hamilton; and two sisters, Jean (Paul) Pennington of West Elkton and Patricia Jones. She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Beatrice Houck and Betty Huffman; a great-grandson, Logan Day; and a son-in-law, Donald Dittman.

Funeral service will be held at the Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Avenue, on Friday, March 16, 2007 at 10:00 AM. Burial will follow in Scipio Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Thursday from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Virginia's family would like to acknowledge and thank Dr. Kenneth Wehr and the staff of Vitas Hospice for the compassionate and professional care they provided. If desired, sympathy may be expressed by memorial contributions to Vitas Hospice or Morgan Township Fire Department and Life Squad. Virginia will be sadly missed by all her family and many friends.
