Funeral services for Mr. Mitchell Joseph Rachal, Sr. will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 30, 2020, at Wilda Baptist Church, Wilda Community, with Reverend Joey Rudisill officiating. Interment will follow in Rachal Cemetery, Marco, under the direction of Rush Funeral Home, Pineville.
Mr. Rachal, 78, of Cotile, entered eternal rest on Wednesday, May 27, 2020, in his residence.
He was a very skilled maintenance worker who was never afraid to tackle a problem. He worked for over forty years for Noah Potato Chip Company and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was a member of Wilda Baptist Church in Wilda Community and loved spending time with his grandchildren. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest and Delphine Rachal; his wife, Patsy Bordelon Rachal; one brother, Raymond Rachal and two grandchildren, Ronnie King and Derrick Deville.
Those left to mourn his loss and cherish his memory include one son, Mitchell “Joe” Rachal and his wife, Jan, of Elmer; two daughters, Nita Beebe and her husband, Kary, of Cotile and Brenda Faye Jones and her husband, Daniel, of Forest Hill; two brothers, Elbert Rachal, of Columbia and David Rachal, of Cloutierville; four sisters, Ernestine Martin, of Williana, Melinda Martin, of Cloutierville, Brenda Sue Jones, of Colfax and Rhonda Carter, of Cloutierville; nine grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren and six stepchildren.
A time of visitation will be held at Wilda Baptist Church, on Saturday, May 30, 2020, from 10:00 a.m. until time of service.
