Aaron David Shock was one of three brothers, all glaziers, who all emigrated to England in the 1850's.

From the Jewish Chronicle:
Shock. On the 25th of November 1904 Kislev, 5665 at 172 Wavertree Road, Liverpool aged 76, Aaron David, the beloved husband of Jocabeth Shock and father of J Shock, 46 Crossfield Road. Deeply mourned by his surviving wife, sons, daughters, brother, grandchildren, relatives and friends. May his dear soul rest in Peace.
