Mrs. Helen S. Bunch Dies At Home Of Son
Funeral Service This Afternoon at 3:30 0'clock at Clyde's Chapel
Mrs. Helen Scarborough Bunch died Tuesday at 2 o'clock at the home of her son, C. D. Bunch, Wendell, R. F. D. 1.
She was the widow of Henry V. Bunch and a sister of the late Rev. C. W. Scarborough of Murfreesboro, and the late John C. Scarborough, superintendent of public instruction and president of Chowan College.
She is survived by the following children: W. T. Bunch, Mrs. J. L. Phipps, C. G. Bunch, L. V. Bunch, Mrs. W. G. Cousins, all of Wendell, Route 2, and Mrs. Amos Deans, Wendell. She also leaves 38 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren.
She was 88 years old last April.
The funeral will be held at Clyde's Chapel Church, of which she was a charter member, this afternoon at 3:30 o'clock. Grandsons and great-grandsons will be active pallbearers. The honorary pallbearers will include the deacons of the church and J. M. Wilder and J. R. Hood.
