Juanita Bethel, 77, formerly of Broken Bow, passed away Friday, April 28, 2007, at Christus ST. Michael Health Care System in Texarkana, TX.. She was born December 19, 1929, in Pine Valley, OK, the daughter of Francis "Monk" and Stella (Walker) Nabors.

Juanita was a member of the First Assembly of God in Broken Bow and taught Sunday School there for over twenty years. She was president of the Broken Bow Band Boosters. Juanita enjoyed working in the yard, raising flowers and was an excellent cook. Her greatest pleasure was being a wife to her husband Charlie and mother to her son Monte.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Charlie Bethel; parents, Stella and Francis Lewis "Monk" Nabors; son, Charles Michael Bethel; brother, Francis Lewis Nabors Jr.; sister, Oleta Nabors.

Juanita leaves to cherish her memory her son and daughter-in-law, Monte and Gina Bethel, Dallas, TX.; two sisters, June Chambers, Delight AR., Berneice Farley and husband Bobby, Dierks, AR.; three nephews, Bob Chambers, Delight, AR., Richard Chambers, Hope, AR. and Joey Farley, Dierks, AR., and a host of friends.

Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 1, 2007, at the First Assembly of God, Broken Bow, OK. Interment will follow at Broken Bow Cemetery, Broken Bow, OK. Rev. Bernard Escalante will officiate.
