CULLMAN Vernon Ray 'Boe' Anderson

Funeral services for Vernon Ray "Boe" Anderson, 60, of Cullman will be at 3 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 5, 2012, at Cullman Heritage Funeral Home Chapel, Bro. Larry Brown officiating, with burial in Sulfur Springs Cemetery in Hayden.

Cullman Heritage Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Anderson died Thursday, Aug. 2, at Cullman Regional Medical Center. He was born April 17, 1952, in Jefferson County to Thomas B. and Mary Juanita Mayfield Anderson. He worked for Morgan Oil Company.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his wife of 41 years, Joan Anderson; a son, Christopher Ray Anderson; a daughter, Christy Michelle (Michael) Anderson; a brother, Tommy (Wanda) Anderson; two sisters, Diana (Johnny) Thomas and Debra (Wayne) Hallman; three grandchildren, Madison Anderson, Mason Anderson and Molly Anderson; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
