Sutton resident Adeline Irene Ochsner, 86, passed away Saturday, May 23, 2020, at the Sutton Community Home in Sutton, NE.

Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, May 28, 2020, at Hope Reformed Church in Sutton, NE with Rev. Scott Henry officiating. Interment will follow at the Sutton Cemetery in Sutton, NE. Services will be live-streamed from the Hope Reformed Church Facebook page beginning at 10:30 a.m. Due to the Directed Health Measure party(s) must maintain a minimum of 6 feet of separation and consist of a household unit or individual at both the funeral service and graveside service. Visitation will be Wednesday, from 1 p.m. – 8 p.m., at Sutton Memorial Chapel in Sutton. We will be following the CDC guidelines of 10 people gathering at a time for visitation.

Memorial contributions may be directed to the family to be designated later.

Adeline Irene Ochsner was born October 23, 1933, to Albert and Ludmilla (Moser) Eisenbraun in Creighton, SD. She received her education at Creighton Public School thru the 8th grade and then remained on the family farm babysitting her many nieces and nephews until she moved to Sutton, Ne to live with her Aunt. It was in Sutton that she met and married the love of her life, Armond J. Ochsner. They made their home in Sutton and had 4 children. Adeline was employed at the Sutton Community Home as head cook for 17 years until she retired.

She was a faithful member of Hope Reformed Church and was also a member of the church choir and the ladies Bible study.

Adeline loved the Lord and her family very much and looked forward to her many summer trips to South Dakota visiting her father, mother, siblings, nieces, and nephews.

Adeline is survived by her children, Sherry L. Ochsner (Kelly) of Lincoln, NE; Julie Serr (Tim) of Hastings, NE; Lori DeLarm (James) of Sutton, NE; Albert Ochsner (Angelita) of Sutton, NE; 6 grandchildren, Kayla Roth (Jon) of Sutton, NE; Alicia Wills (Eric) of Lincoln, NE; Tiffanni DeLarm of Omaha, NE; Blake DeLarm (Taylor) of Aurora, NE; Alex DeLarm and Armando Ochsner both of Sutton, NE; 6 great-grandchildren, one brother, Helmuth Eisenbraun (Carol) of Missouri; sisters-in-law, Arlene Eisenbraun of Illinois; Iva Eisenbraun of South Dakota; Elsie Ochsner of Colorado; and one brother-in-law, Cleon Ochsner (Norma) of Colorado.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 61 years, her parents, brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, and one great-grandchild, Thomas Jr.
