Mrs. Vivian Ruth (Bib) Bickel, of Tyrone, died Friday, May 12, 1995, at her home.
She was born Sept. 2, 1917, in Tyrone, the daughter of Victor L. and Esther Gertrude (Shildt) Getz. She was married twice, first to Robert A. Gunsallus, then to William G. Bickel. Both preceded her in death.
She was a member of Spruce Creek United Methodist Church.
She retired in 1976 as a machine operator for Big Yank Co., Tyrone and was also employed in the finishing room of Westvaco for many years.
Surviving are sons: Robert A. Gunsallus Jr., Leroy G. Bickel and William B. Bickel Jr.; a daughter, Judy A. Erfan-Armstrong; sisters, Gertrude Fleck and Jean Laird; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by an infant son, Lynn Oliver Bickel and a sister, Dorothy Ross.
BICKEL – Services for Vivian Ruth Bickel of Tyrone, will be held Tuesday at Derman Funeral Home Inc., Tyrone, by Pastor Edward Bonsell. Interment at Bald Eagle Cemetery.
