Burley Dean Livesay, age 72 of Bean Station, passed away Saturday, May 23, 2020. He was born May 21, 1948. He was a member of Old Spruce Pine Baptist Church. He was retired from Clinchview Golf Course, and resided at Ben’s Place in Bean Station.

He was preceded in death by son Dewayne A. Livesay of Whitesburg; parents Roy and Vina Livesay and brother Gary Livesay, all of Bean Station. He is survived by the love of his life, Wanda Livesay Ballard; children Hugh and Beverly Helton of Kodak, Deanna Bishop, and Timmy (Holly) Livesay, all of Bean Station; sisters Shirley Livesay and Cherrie (Steve) Ivey, all of Bean Station; ten grandchildren Scooter, Marcus, Niki, Travis, Brittney, Dewayne Jr, Michael, Devin, Heavenly, and Maverick; nine great-grandchildren Emily, Raylen, Trey, Kaylee, Carson, Journey, Hayleigh, Johnathon, and Amaura.

The family wishes to thank Amedisys Hospice, and special thanks to his nurses Sherry and April; a very special thank you to Dr. Jennifer Cupp, who was not just a doctor, but also a friend.

Graveside services will be held at 10 am on Monday, May 25, 2020, at Livesay Cemetery in Bean Station, with Rev. Bill Johnson officiating.
