Geoffrey Neumann Harms of Abita Springs, LA passed away on Wednesday, July 11, 2018.
He was born on November 30, 1941 in Giddings, TX to Henry Carl Harms and Louise Lillian Neumann.
Geoffrey is survived by his sons David Harms (Alisha) and Michael Harms (Mary) and his grandchildren Ava and Mordecai Harms. He is also survived by his brother Jonathan Harms (Diann) and a host of nieces and nephews.
Geoffrey is preceded in death by his beloved wife Brenda Craft Harms and his parents.
Geoff was born and raised in Giddings, TX and met his beautiful wife when he attended Louisiana State University. They were married in 1962 and were married for over 50 years. Geoff had a successful career for over 20 years with K&B Drug Store. He enjoyed golfing and watching the New Orleans Saints, but most of all, he loved God with all of his heart. Geoff expressed his love for God through faithful church attendance; he sang in the church choir and served as a Deacon at Holy Trinity Lutheran. He also proudly raised his sons in the church and taught many Sunday school classes. He leaves behind a legacy of being hardworking, loving his family, and being devoted to God. He will be greatly missed, but we know we will see him again when Jesus calls us home.
