Letha Mae (Shook) Neihouse, 88, of Oologah, OK passed away Thursday, May 21, 2020 in Oologah. She was born January 18, 1932 in Ralston, OK to Cyrus Clyde Shook and the former Mary Jane Knight.

She attended Prairie Grove School until the 8th grade and then attended and graduated from Oologah High School in 1949. She married Charles Hobart Chapman on September 24, 1949. He passed away in 1969. She later married Jerome Neihouse in 1972. He passed away in 1983.

She worked for Gateway Luggage in the 60’s and for Oologah Schools in the 90’s. She loved going on tours taking yearly trips to Branson with her daughters. She enjoyed camping and playing Dominos, nobody in the family ever beat her at the game.

She is survived by 3 children: Carolyn Logue and her husband Glenn of Oologah, Charles Chapman and his wife Mary of Oologah and Catherine Chapman of Oologah. 4 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild also survive her.

She is preceded in death by a brother: Charley Morgan.

Graveside services will be 11:00 am at the Wann Cemetery in Oologah with Carl Helmuth and Linda McGowen officiating.
