Mrs. Helen Martha (Bellows) Ray, 76, of 25 Central Street died yesterday in Memorial Hospital where she had been a patient since Jan. 18. Funeral services will be held Thursday morning at 11 o'clock in the Dickinson-Streeter Funeral Home. Rev. C. W. Vandenbergh will officiate. Burial will be in Intervale Cemetery, Wilmington. Born in New York City Jan. 2. 1880, she was the daughter of Elmore and Nellie Bellows. She attended schools in New York and later was employed in several offices in the city. For a short time Mrs. Ray lived in South Newfane and moved to Brattleboro about five years ago. She was married on Aug. 25, 1915 to Brainerd Ray of Brooklyn, N.Y., who survives. She also leaves one son, Marsh Ray of Chicago.
